2027 Senior Picture Requirements
DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 6, 2026
(Any photo after this date risks not being included in the 2026/2027 Martianaire)

One traditional digital portrait *must be 300 dpi jpeg*

plain medium to dark tones of blue, purple, gray or green – OUTDOOR SHOTS ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED

- HEAD AND SHOULDERS ONLY
- Full face or .75 views to the right or the left
- Both eyes must be showing

- No studio, year or name imprinted on photograph
- Pure white, black or red backgrounds
- No poses with hands
- No poses with props or other people/animals
- No soft touch, mist or double exposures
- No creative photographic treatments/filters other than the standard portrait
- Clothes must be school code appropriate
*Final decisions on suitability of the portrait will be the discretion of the yearbook adviser and high school administrator.

FYI…By state law, you may select any studio to have your portrait taken. Make certain that the studio can meet our required portrait specifications.
Talk to a 2026 graduate about his/her portrait experience:
- Where was it shot?
- How many changes of clothing were you allowed?
- Was the studio easy to work with?
- Was the photo session fun?
- How expensive was the setting?
- How long did it take to get the proofs?
- Did their portrait arrive by the deadline?
Select a reputable studio to have your picture taken.
Best package price: During the summer.
